A home gym is great! Dumbbells take up no space and you can do a lot in a small space with them :)
Great ideas. My husband has just created a space in our basement for a home gym. Normally, I don't even bother with weights, but I think I could handle dumbells. Thanks for the share.

That's awesome! For the first month of the year the gym is usually so crowded that it's great to have a place at home. Free weights are so important for us ladies to help prevent osteoporosis and keep our metabolism up as we age. I hope you'll sneak into your husband's space and do a little strength training in 2014 :)
Very good post. I have my own home gym in our unfinished area and I LOVE IT! I also carry these weights out with me to boot camp.
