Dinner is served! Swiss Chard and Spinach Tart

Dinner is served! This little slice of goodness is a piece of Swiss Chard and Spinach Tart.  At the Fit Armadillo household it was served over a bed of salad for even more nutritious goodness.

By combining the Swiss chard and spinach with ricotta and feta cheeses and eggs, the veggies are slightly masked making it easy to trick a picky eater into enjoying loads of healthy vitamins and nutrients.  If you haven't tried Swiss chard yet, this recipe is a great way to do a trial run of the healthy green (and red and orange if you count the colorful stalks).

How does Swiss Chard taste? I have never eaten nor tasted it but it sounds quite tasty! Thanks for participating in WOW Link Up.

Kind of like spinach. I usually have it cooked with other flavors, but that's what I say based on the one time I tried it solo :)
I just bought a giant bag of swiss chard to eat with steak- for some reason it hadn't even crossed my mind to use it with anything else! Will definitely be trying the leftovers with eggs and feta!

That's awesome :) Let me know what you think!
Yum this looks good! Love these kind of egg tarts but have never thought of using Swiss chard. Will have to check it out!

My hubby and I love them too-it went fast!
I am definitely making this. I have swiss chard in my freezer and it came from my garden I had in the summer. I didn't think I would be able to keep it until I found a way to freeze it. Thanks for the recipe and I know I'm late in responding to WOW. My birthday and a cold got me behind responding to last week's WOW hop.
